Mounds Layer Cake


INGREDIENTS
  • Cake:
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup Dutch Process Cocoa Powder (I used Hershey’s Special Dark)
  • 1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 3/4 cup boiling water
