Red Enchilada Sauce

Ingredients
  • 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 2 Tbsp finely grated onion
  • 1 Tbsp masa harina or all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups tomato puree
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 3 Tbsp chili powder
